Come to our reunion...
Come to our 10-year reunion! There are lots of reasons people give as to why they don't want to attend a high school reunion. Don't let one of these be yours:
1. I already keep in touch with everyone I care about. All right, but what about the people that want to keep in touch with you that you don't even know about, or the people you forgot you cared about?
2. I hated everything about high school.Well, we'll give you that one, but get over it—it's been 10 years! We've all grown up (we think or, at least, hope)!
3. I got fat, bald, divorced, fired, etc... over the last 10 years.Yeah, and everyone else in our class didn't? I'm sure they all got rich and better looking, right? Reality check! Real life is not that kind even though we all wish it was!
We were all 18 once, and we all lived to tell the tale. Many of us look back on our high school days with a mixture of pride and embarrassment. We can't believe we wore those clothes, got those haircuts, hung out with that crowd, said that to our dates or spent so much money on that junk. These experiences are universal, and you'll discover how universal once you start swapping stories at the reunion. Take comfort in the fact that very few people even remember all the "dumb" things you did as a teenager, except yourself.
Do you need a jump start down memory lane? How about taking a look at what happened in 1998: world events, U.S. events, economics, sports, entertainment, science, and deaths.

Updates
Hey everyone,
We are going to have everything nailed down by the end of May. So sit tight another month. It's hard to plan and takes some time and resources to get things going. We only have around $800 for the whole event which isn't near enough money. Any ideas? Anyone want to donate? There will be a charge to attend the event to help with the costs of it. Anyhow, we don't want this event to be lame but money is what we HAVE to have. Please email us at mvhs1998@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping. Thanks in advance.

Newest Update
Go “Green” and White
Dear MVHS Class of 1998:
Re: Current plans for the Class of 1998 10 Year Class Reunion
Megan, Rebekah, Amanda and I have met over the last couple months and have come up with a game plan that will hopefully fit many schedules.
We will try to keep everyone as up-to-date as possible on current reunion information. We have a blog and myspace page available for information. The blog http://mvhs1998classreunion.blogspot.com/will be where we update the current plans/locations as well as any missing addresses. Our Class Myspace is www.myspace.com/1998mvhs and will be set up since it is the new wave of communication and there are many of us on there. Please add us to your friends list. Again, please pass the email address and web pages out. If you haven’t already, please send your preference contact info to our class email account, MVHS1998@yahoo.com Email and blogs are a great way to really save on the unneeded costs of postage, paper and time.
In order to keep costs low we are using our graduation program as our tool to determine who graduated. If you know or knew someone who went to school with us and did not graduate at that time and they would like to attend, please have them email their contact information. We realize some people graduated early due to running start, transferring, exchange students and those who received a GED. We attempted to use 4 years of year books and ended up close to 700 people.
We have decided on a 2 day event. We will not be doing a formal sit down dinner. Instead we are going to save money for an awesome 20 year reunion.
The dates of the reunion are: August 9-10, 2008
Possible locations (Not set in stone)
Saturday: School Tour and Gift Delivery then Skagit Brewery for appetizer catering and over flow at Draft Pics, Porter House, then onto Skagit Casino.
Sunday: Hillcrest Park for a BBQ, professional photographer, auction (to help raise $ for our 20 year reunion)
FYI: We have already completed 1 fundraiser, which was a great success. We raised $476.50. Thank you to all that helped or purchased Butterbraids.
