Newest Update

Go “Green” and White

Dear MVHS Class of 1998:

Re: Current plans for the Class of 1998 10 Year Class Reunion

Megan, Rebekah, Amanda and I have met over the last couple months and have come up with a game plan that will hopefully fit many schedules.

We will try to keep everyone as up-to-date as possible on current reunion information. We have a blog and myspace page available for information. The blog http://mvhs1998classreunion.blogspot.com/will be where we update the current plans/locations as well as any missing addresses. Our Class Myspace is www.myspace.com/1998mvhs and will be set up since it is the new wave of communication and there are many of us on there. Please add us to your friends list. Again, please pass the email address and web pages out. If you haven’t already, please send your preference contact info to our class email account, MVHS1998@yahoo.com Email and blogs are a great way to really save on the unneeded costs of postage, paper and time.

In order to keep costs low we are using our graduation program as our tool to determine who graduated. If you know or knew someone who went to school with us and did not graduate at that time and they would like to attend, please have them email their contact information. We realize some people graduated early due to running start, transferring, exchange students and those who received a GED. We attempted to use 4 years of year books and ended up close to 700 people.

We have decided on a 2 day event. We will not be doing a formal sit down dinner. Instead we are going to save money for an awesome 20 year reunion.

The dates of the reunion are: August 9-10, 2008
Possible locations (Not set in stone)

Saturday: School Tour and Gift Delivery then Skagit Brewery for appetizer catering and over flow at Draft Pics, Porter House, then onto Skagit Casino.

Sunday: Hillcrest Park for a BBQ, professional photographer, auction (to help raise $ for our 20 year reunion)

FYI: We have already completed 1 fundraiser, which was a great success. We raised $476.50. Thank you to all that helped or purchased Butterbraids.
